We go white with fear, red with anger. What about your car - ever wondered what your choice of car colour says about you?
Colour stereotyping has been applied to cars as well. With cars it was always assumed that white indicated a slightly unhealthy obsession with 1980s hot hatches, grey said 'look elsewhere - look at anything but me', and yellow told everyone you worked for a breakdown rescue service!
Well, apparently not. A new study from CNW Marketing Research in the US suggests that car colour is linked to confidence levels. The study found that people with emerald green, dark blue and silver cars had above-average self confidence, drivers of white cars had average self confidence, while those who chose yellow, orange, blue or red cars had below-average self confidence.
The CNW study also tracked responses over time, allowing researchers to calculate the 'moodiness' of drivers. Apparently people with black, dark blue or silver cars have the most consistent mood, while those driving orange, red, bright yellow or green cars have the most pronounced mood swings.
We change the colour of our clothes and even the colour of our rooms. Even our own colour can change with our moods and no one has the same mood all day. However, changing the colour of one’s car is that not that easy. Even if you could afford to, you don’t have to have a garage full of different coloured cars.
These days you can hire a limo in any colour you fancy, reflecting your mood swings. From the traditional black or white, silver or gold, there’ a limo out there for you. How about a yellow limo? Pink to fire engine red, these days limos come in a chameleon like array of colours.
So, whatever, type of limo you’re after, in whatever colour you want, HireLimos will find the car to match your mood.
